Bicton Primary School Parents and Citizens Association

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) invites all parents and community to attend meetings, as noted on the Bicton Primary School term planner. These meetings commence at 7:00pm in the school conference room on the verandah and conclude at 8:00pm.

Bicton Primary P&C is the official body for parents at Bicton Primary School. Our voluntary committee is dedicated to ensuring Bicton Primary families are well represented and informed about school activities, while fostering a genuine sense of community.

We undertake fundraising throughout the year to assist the school, with funds going toward subsidising education tools, infrastructure, sports equipment, and other essential resources.

The P&C also:

Operates the school canteen.
Supports the Class Representative system for each class.
Runs parent seminars on topics like protective behaviours & resilience in children.
Hosts community events (cake stalls, sausage sizzles, Bingo, Quiz Nights).
Coordinates fundraising goals!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

AGM: Our committee forms in Term 1 of each year at the AGM.
If you have any specific skills/interests in: meeting chair, treasurer, minute taking, social media, event planning – please shout out any time during the year!
Join the committee anytime throughout the year.
Come to use with event ideas.
Assist with events – more hands make lighter work.
